Yamaha releases Q-SYS Certified Plugin for RM-W wireless microphones

Yamaha Corporation today released a Q-SYS certified plug-in for the RM-W Series (V2.0.11), part of the ADECIA lineup of teleconferencing solutions.
The RM-W series makes up the core of the Yamaha ADECIA wireless microphone system, employing the 1.9GHz band DECT communication method for stable voice transmission and up to 20 hours of continuous operation. Various microphone types are available, enabling flexible configurations to suit the size and purpose of any conference room. In addition, Dante-compatible access points and simple setup via a web-based UI significantly reduce the burden of installation and operation.
With this new plug-in, Yamaha’s ADECIA solution and the Q-SYS platform are now more tightly integrated, enabling more seamless and flexible teleconferencing.
The newly released plug-in connects via IP address settings.
Within Q-SYS Designer, users can manage up to 16 microphones*—monitoring each microphone’s connection status, mute control, and battery level—delivering a more efficient and intuitive user experience for both system integrators and end users. DSP functions such as echo cancellation, noise reduction, and microphone gain can also be configured, and group mute functionality is available for managing multiple microphones. *When using RM-WAP16.
