Meinir Gwilym

Born and raised in the small village of Llangristiolus in the heart of the Isle of Anglesey off the North Wales coast, she performs both acoustically and with her full band. She has to date released one EP, Smôcs coffi a fodca rhad, and Dim ond Clwydda, an album which has sold thousands and is currently in discussions with a number of major record labels.

Meinir is booked to perform at most of the major Welsh festivals in 2004, and also appears regularly on S4C TV with her favourite CPX8 electro-acoustic.
